WHO WE ARE
The Child Advocacy Center of Central Missouri (CACCMO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in the Missouri Revised Statutes (RSMo §210.001) as the Boone County child assessment center, 1 of 15 such centers statewide tasked with providing services to children and families during child abuse and neglect investigations. Formerly under the umbrella organization Rainbow House, the CACCMO is now fully independent, under new governance, and through the transition has continued to serve the children and families of Adair, Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Macon, Randolph, and Shelby counties.
WHAT WE DO
The Child Advocacy Center of Central Missouri covers a 10-county region, supporting a population of over 91,000 children. The CACCMO serves ~600 children annually, ensuring that victims of child abuse and neglect have a space where they are not only safe and supported but also prepared for navigating the justice system.
