Our Promise: To Bring Hope
Our Current Community Supported Programs Operated By Volunteers are:
-
Missouri Cares Mobile Soup Kitchen - A generous donation of a van served as the catalyst for a significant expansion of our hunger relief efforts. Inspired by a community partner's desire to combat food insecurity, our organization launched the Missouri Cares Mobile Soup Kitchen in Jefferson City. In less than 30 days, we successfully mobilized the van to deliver meals directly to individuals in need. What began by serving 17 people on its inaugural day has since grown exponentially. Our dedicated volunteers now provide meals to an excess of 200 people every Saturday. Thanks to a vital partnerships with Building Community Bridges and Lincoln University in Jefferson City, this program has operated without interruption since its inception.
Our success in addressing food insecurity continues to expand. In Fulton, Mo, our founding city we continue to served between 40-60 regularly and are expanding a second route. We opened a new soup kitchen in Owensville, Missouri, December 1st, 2025. Our first night we served 20 people. Our next two expansion programs are slated for Mexico, Mo before the end of December 2025, and Eldon, Mo early 2026.
-
Homeless Street Outreach - Our organization delivers targeted assistance and critical supplies to unhoused residents within the various counties we service. We distribute essential items such as food, hygiene kits, harm reduction kits, blankets, clothing, and sleeping bags. We offer vital support services including laundry facilities and transportation assistance when resources permit.
-
Self–Sustainability – We offer a two-pronged approach to community empowerment and self-sufficiency. This includes hosting engaging, hands-on Do-It-Yourself (DIY) classes designed to equip community members with practical life skills and creative outlets. Furthermore, we work hand-in-hand with our clients through personalized coaching and support services. This collaborative effort is designed to address and overcome the specific systemic and personal obstacles that have contributed to their current hardship, enabling them to achieve greater long-term success and stability
-
Feeding the community - We collaborate with local partners to provide essential food security services to residents experiencing hardship. Through community donations and strategic partnerships, we ensure the availability of nutritional support. Our service model emphasizes a seamless continuity of care. We coordinate with other community organizations to bridge gaps in assistance and guarantee that client nutritional needs are met through referrals and resource sharing. Furthermore, we offer critical logistical support, including assisted transportation to food banks and home delivery services for homebound clients. Our operational philosophy centers on delivering robust client solutions and exhausting all avenues of support to address their immediate needs.
-
Partnering with CardV - We have partnered with CardV in the struggle against domestic violence. By providing discreet assistance and rapid access to resources, we endeavor to provide comfort and support to those fleeing from danger.
-
Forgotten Fur Friends/Purrfect Paws – Our mission extends to supporting vulnerable animal populations within our community. We deliver this support through two highly effective methods: a robust rehoming service for adoptable cats and a comprehensive Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program for community cats. These integrated efforts enhance overall animal welfare, ensure humane population management, and contribute to a healthier, safer community ecosystem for humans and pets alike. This program ties to our unsheltered neighbors programs as we provide donated pet needs such as food, leashes, harnesses, and vet care whenever possible. We understand that pets are family and many times a reason to live.
