Thanks to Mid America Bank, EquipmentShare, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and Commerce Bank for boosting our 2025 CoMoGives Campaign their generous matching gifts!

The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri distributes millions of meals annually across our 32-county service area. Through our network of 145 pantries, shelters and soup kitchens, and nearly 200 schools, we provide nutrition assistance to more than 100,000 Missourians each month.  

Additionally, The Food Bank provides a number of hunger-relief programs that support specific populations in need, such as children, seniors, veterans and our unhoused neighbors. Our relationship with Feeding America strengthens our purchasing power, enabling us to provide at least 75 meals with a contribution of $25.

Food insecurity is prevalent in central and northeast Missouri and is at its highest level in nearly a decade. Approximately 15.7% of those living in our service area do not have consistent access to affordable, nutritious food. Further data show that 1 in 7 people in Missouri - and 1 in 5 children - are food insecure.

With food costs remaining high, interruptions in SNAP benefits and continued economic challenges, the need continues to increase. In recent days, The Food Bank Market, the largest pantry in Boone County, served 4,396 households (12,042 individuals), including 273 new households (578 new individuals).
