Community Garden Coalition

The Community Garden Coalition seeks to build a healthy, resilient community by supporting a network of 20+ community and school gardens in Columbia which help hundreds of people have a place to grow nutritious food. We seek to provide the supplies, know-how and funding to help new and existing gardens succeed.

We’re an all-volunteer nonprofit that has been helping cultivate community gardens for 40 years. Our member gardens are open to all, regardless of income. They bring together people from diverse backgrounds, giving folks the chance to grow their own nutritious food and reap the many health benefits of gardening, while making new friendships and improving our environment.
