Our Mission 

DeafLEAD ignites resilience by providing immediate, culturally attuned crisis support to Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, Late-Deafened, and hearing individuals facing crime, suicide ideation, and urgent mental health needs. Through videophones using ASL, text, and chat access via the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and videophone via the Deaf Crisis Line, we offer culturally competent advocacy and  mental health resources—ensuring no one navigates crisis alone. Inspired by our CEO Dr. Stephanie Logan’s vision of shared strength around the campfire, our mission is simple: Fuel lifelines that empower Deaf survivors to thrive, one connection at a time.
