Giving Branch Foundation - Flat Branch Home Loans

The Giving Branch is completely funded by the employees of Flat Branch Mortgage and Flat Branches match to every dollar given. The Giving Branch started in 2019. From the beginning, our main goal was to ensure that the money raised in the area goes directly back into the community—a portion to local organizations, a portion to the United Way, and most importantly, the majority to individuals. This support can be for anything from aiding in natural disaster recovery to covering unexpected hospital bills. We aim to give back to the communities that have supported us for so long.  Celebrating the ability to provide over $5.2M in grants to the communities served by Flat Branch is something we do daily. Our distribution of funds to individuals and local organizations in need of financial assistance allows us to continually make a difference in our communities and provide help in extraordinary ways. 

In addition to individual and nonprofit grants, The Giving Branch also takes pride in serving our community, doing over 240 hours of volunteering in 2024. We also have a scholarship for working adults over the age of 25, supporting those who are seeking a higher education.
