WHO WE ARE

Mizzou PALS (Preschool Active Learning Service) is an early childhood program designed to help ensure that all children are prepared to experience school success. Today’s preschool children are tomorrow’s scientists, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs and teachers. Every child - no matter their background – deserves opportunities that help set them on a path for lifelong learning. Positive school experiences put children on a trajectory toward a meaningful and productive life. Our mission promotes the promise of all children feeling prepared to experience school success. Mizzou PALS matches trained tutors with children for individualized support to build language, literacy, and social-emotional skills. This special relationship results in confident and capable young learners with limitless potential as they enter school.
