KOPN 89.5 Community Radio

KOPN is a non-commercial, listener-supported community radio station operated by the non-profit New Wave Corporation, broadcasting to central Missouri and the world at KOPN.org/. In addition to our full service 24/7 radio and streaming programs, we also turn volunteers in radio broadcasters! Part of our mission from our founding has been to provide a platform to underrepresented voices in our local, and now global, media ecosystem.

Over the past 51 years, KOPN has been primarily volunteer-run. Our 70+ volunteers produce eclectic radio programs, whether music, talk, or sometimes even drama. Our independent, community focus ensures that the music you hear is unique and the talk you hear is free from large corporate or government special interests. Won't you join us?
