Pascales Pals Inc

Pascale's Pals is a local volunteer organization that benefits the children and families staying at the MU Health Care’s Children's Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. The mission of Pascale's Pals is to provide happiness to the children and ease the burden of the families during their stay in the hospital. We believe that love, happiness, and prayer can help children heal.

Throughout the year Pascale's Pals provides support to the children and families of Mid Missouri through multiple programs.  These programs include:

1. Wish Baskets:  Baskets are provided for children receiving care at the hospital for life threatening and / or chronic illnesses.  These baskets are made specifically for each child based on their personal requests. Our goal is to go above and beyond while making each basket to bring joy and comfort to these children in time of hardship. These baskets can include items like ipads, gaming consoles, laptops, playhouses, and lots of toys! On average, each basket costs around $1,000. Last year alone, we delivered 75 baskets. 

2.  Holiday Gifts:  Gifts are provided for the children on holidays and special occasions.

3. Major Renovations:  Throughout the years, we have funded renovations like the playroom, Teen Room, NICU Family room, the playground, and much more!

4. Wayne Richards Scholarship:  Each year we provide scholarships to graduating seniors that have been treated at MU Health Care's Children's Hospital.

5. Bead Programs:  Support is given to both Beads for Breath for Cystic Fibrosis patients and Beads for Babies for NICU patients.

6. Antepartum Floor Gifts:  Baskets are provided for patients with high risk pregnancies that have to be hospitalized.

7. Celebrations:  Gifts and parties are provided for children finishing intensive therapies.

8. Financial Assistance:  Financial assistance is provided to help families in need during these difficult times to help ease their burdens.  In addition, we aid in funeral costs for families when there is a need.

9. Switched Adapted Toys:  We work with the therapists at Children's Therapy Center and adapt toys for children with motor impairments to make play possible.

Because of your kindness, we have been able to make a difference in the lives of children at our Children's Hospital for over 25 years. We hope to continue for another 25+ years!
