MISSION

Spectrum Health Care’s mission is to serve as Mid Missouri’s leading healthcare resource center committed to providing high-quality, accessible, all-inclusive primary healthcare and educational prevention services for marginalized populations throughout the state.

ABOUT SPECTRUM HEALTH CARE

Since 1993, Spectrum Health Care has served as the premier LGBTQA+ healthcare, advocacy and prevention group of Mid Missouri. We offer free sexual health prevention, education and programming including a volunteer led STI clinic and free and low-cost birth control.

Our amazing group of clinicians provide inclusive primary care services on a sliding scale (income driven) and we now accept all health insurance!  We are a staff dedicated to reducing barriers to healthcare related to social determinants of health in our area and throughout rural Missouri. 

Project 1840 is a new program initiative that focuses on the #1 killer of Missourians aged 18-40: Opioid Use Disorder. Our physicians and staff are 100% committed to increasing community access and affordability to life-saving treatments for Substance Use Disorder including Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT).    

Spectrum has Community Health Workers on site, and our staff provides non bias insurance enrollment assistance and follow-up support throughout an overly complicated bureaucratic process which continues to burden our most vulnerable neighbors.  

Spectrum Health Care/WaterBrook Housing Inc. provides housing and utility assistance to people with chronic conditions, such as Hep C and HIV.
