Team River Runner - CoMO

Since 2017 Team River Runner Columbia has paddled with over 300 first time Veteran kayakers in the Mid Missouri area. We provide basic water safety train for all active duty, veterans and their families.  Team River Runner provides our community with opportunities to learn about adaptive kayaking and the life changing effects of outdoor recreation therapy. Our programs include education, training and year round events. Kayaking improves healing, health and wellness. Sponsored by the Veterans Administration Adaptive Sports outdoor recreation therapy.

Testimonials

Team River Runner has served more than 2,100 veterans since 2017 including 1,850 adaptive kayak events. The organization has grown to more than 60 Chapters in 31 states. There are three Chapters serving Missouri; Columbia Missouri - Mid Mo, St Louis Southeastern Mo, and Joplin. Team River Runner CoMo works with our volunteers Recreational Therapists providing the best outdoor recreation therapy to our wounded veterans.

The total fundraising campaign includes all 2026 events, services goods and goals for TRR member participants.
