Turning Point

Turning Point is more than just a day center – it's a place where people experiencing homelessness can find hope, restore their dignity, and access resources to rebuild their lives. Our day center and emergency warming center provide vital services to our community’s most vulnerable members. We’re reaching out for your support to help us continue offering these essential services and expand our impact on the lives of those who need it most.

Our Services and Support:  At Turning Point, we provide a safe, judgment-free space where people can access:

• Basic Needs: Showers, public restrooms, laundry facilities, mailing address, phone and internet access, hygiene items
• Storage: Safe storage for personal belongings.
• Weather Shelter: A safe haven during extreme weather conditions.
• Computer Lab and Other Resources: Access to computers for job searches, resume building, and other essential tasks.
• Daily Essentials: New and donated items that include coats, hats, gloves, shoes, socks, backpacks/bags, and blankets. 
• Additional Assistance: Daily morning coffee, water, occasional transportation to appointments, and referrals to other agencies for mental and physical health services, clothing, and other needs. 

A Safe and Supportive Environment:  One of Turning Point’s most important contributions is the sense of belonging and support we provide. Here, individuals are welcomed, respected, and empowered. Staff and community collaborations enable connections and open doors for opportunities, promoting a supportive network that fosters resilience.
