Turning Point

Turning Point Day Center provides basic-needs services to individuals experiencing homelessness with the mission of providing hope and restoring dignity. Turning Point offers a safe, judgment-free space for those seeking relief and support.  Our day center and emergency overnight warming center provide essential services to our community’s most vulnerable members. Your support is needed to help us continue to offer these essential services.

Our Services and Support:

• Basic Needs: Showers, public restrooms, laundry facilities, mailing address, phone and internet access, hygiene items
• Storage: Safe storage for personal belongings.
• Weather Shelter: A safe haven during extreme weather conditions.
• Computer Lab and Other Resources: Access to computers for job searches, resume building, and other essential tasks.
• Daily Essentials: Donated items that include coats, hats, gloves, shoes, socks, backpacks/bags, and blankets. 
• Additional Assistance: Daily morning coffee, water, occasional transportation to appointments, and referrals to other agencies for mental and physical health services, clothing, and other needs.

Staff and community collaborations enable connections and open doors for opportunities, promoting a supportive network that fosters resilience.
