The Center Project's Emergency Fund started in 2023 in response to community members reaching out to us in crisis. They had nowhere else to turn and no supportive family to fall back on. Even with our limited resources, we knew we needed to help. Since 2023, the Emergency Fund has supported 112 people totaling $42,247!
We have supported people to pay rent to avoid eviction, flee domestic violence, fix their cars so they can get to work, pay electricity bills, buy groceries, access necessary medical care, and more.
