Boone County Community Against Violence (BCCAV) is a gun violence survivor-led organization dedicated to healing, justice, and prevention. Our Executive Board and Gun Violence Survivor Advisory Board bring together those directly impacted by gun violence to guide our mission, shape our programs, and advocate for change in our community.
Help Survivors Heal. Help Our Community Grow Stronger.
Gun violence doesn’t end when the shooting stops — its impact lives on in the hearts, families, and neighborhoods of those left behind.
BCCAV stands beside survivors as they rebuild their lives and work to prevent future tragedies.
Your support makes that possible.
Your Donation Helps Us:
- Navigate the Justice System
Survivors often face overwhelming legal and emotional challenges. We help them understand their rights, find their voice, and access fair, compassionate justice. - Support Healing and Recovery
We provide trauma-informed support groups, survivor-led healing workshops, and connections to counseling and community resources. - Amplify Survivor Voices
Your gift empowers survivors to lead advocacy efforts, share their stories, and shape solutions that create lasting change.
When You Give, You Give Hope
Every dollar helps restore lives, rebuild trust, and remind survivors they are not alone. Together, we can create a Boone County where every family feels safe — and every survivor has the support they deserve.
