MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Compass is to provide aspiring musicians, singers and songwriters with educational, promotional, networking and showcasing opportunities to help them reach their full musical and artistic potential.

ABOUT US

Compass is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2007, led by a diverse volunteer board of local musicians, music educators, and arts advocates. Since its inception, Compass has helped to foster a musical community in mid-Missouri by hosting summer music camps, various workshops, classes, events, music festivals,  youth open mics, community choirs, songwriter circles, a touring artist concert series, musician showcases for adults and youth and offering private music lessons. 

MUSIC IS FOR EVERYONE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Music is for Everyone Scholarship Fund is an initiative that is made possible through the kindness of our community and the generous support of grants. This fund provides aspiring musicians and songwriters with the opportunity to realize their full artistic potential by providing scholarships and financial assistance to those who are unable to cover the registration fees. Through this fund, we strive to eliminate financial barriers and promote equal access to music education for all.
