I’m incredibly lucky to work for DeafLEAD, an organization that shows up every day to provide life-saving support to Deaf individuals in moments of crisis. Seeing firsthand the impact of our 24/7 crisis services has inspired me to do my part to help ensure these vital supports in ASL, text, and chat remain available to those who need them most.
I’m hoping to raise $1,000 to support DeafLEAD’s 24/7 crisis services—critical lifelines that ensure Deaf individuals can access support anytime, day or night. To make this fundraiser a little more fun (and to keep myself accountable), I’ve set some milestones for myself:
$250 → I’ll run a 5K
$500 → I’ll run a 5K in a funny costume
$750 → I’ll run a 10K
$1,000 → I’ll run a 10K in a funny costume 🎉
