Orr Street Studios is a non-profit that helps promote community through free art and social interaction programs for a diverse community and for all ages. It is a place to to gather, to share, to create and enjoy art, providing free art related programs and exhibits for the entire community... to express themselves and share ideas, stories and life!! From Second Saturday for Kids that offers free art activities for 40+ kids and their parents from all segments of Columbia, to First Friday Music and Exhibits, as well as co-hosting many other free events such as 'Photos with Santa" with Junior Achievement, Hearing Voices/Seeing Visions Talks, the Pride Art Exhibit, Black History Month Exhibit & Fashion Show, the One Read Art Exhibit, True/False Art Exhibit, Tigers on the Prowl Art Exhibit and much much more. In 2010 Orr Street Studios was built, transforming a run down dilapidated warehouse to a beautiful Artist Studios and a Gallery which helped give birth to the North Central Arts District!
